Coach Comment: Team leader...Sets the pace for the running game...Expecting great things out of Javarris this fall...

JUNIOR: Had seven 100+ yard games...lead the team in rushing with 1,187 yds (6.1 ypc) and touchdowns(12). Also led the team in All-Purpose yards with 1,427 (129.7 ypg). Finished tied for second in rushing in the Ohio Valley Conference.

SOPHOMORE: Honored as the Ohio Valley Conference Sophomore of the Year...started seven games and played in all eleven contests...carried the ball 202 times for 872 yards and set the TSU single season rushing record for a Sophomore...scored four touchdowns, his first came in the first game of the season on an 8-yard run against Alabama A&M at the John Merritt Classic...second on the team for scoring with 24 points...longest run of the season was a 53-yard touchdown run against Tennessee Tech...first 100-yard game was against Tennessee Tech, running for 190 yards and a touchdown, the effort ranks as the eleventh best performance in TSU history...selected as the OVC offensive Player of the Week on 10-16-05 for his performance against TTU...reached the 100-yard mark two other times, 134 versus Jacksonville State and 126 against Southeast Missouri State...caught 12 passes for 93 yards...used 2004 as a red-shirt season...

HIGH SCHOOL: Highly-recruited player from the Texas high school ranks...rushed for more than 2,3000 yards as a senior, earning all-Houston Area, all-District, and all-Texas first team honors for Foster High in the suburban Houston area...gained 1,229 yards as a Senior earning All-Houston Area honors...also won district title in the long jump...National Dean’s List student...
