TSUTigers sat down with Cameron to talk about his TSU experience.
TSUTigers: Talk about your overall TSU experience.
A: My overall TSU experience was awesome. I was able to grow as an individual in the classroom, golf course, and socially. My 4 years at TSU were the best years of my life.
TSUTigers: What do you love most about TSU?
A: I love the family atmosphere that TSU provides.
TSUTigers: What will you miss most about TSU?
A: I will miss the athletic department, talking to all the coaches about upcoming events, media, and teammates.
TSUTigers: What is your most memorable golf moment at TSU?
A: When my name was called at the OVC tournament that I had made my goal of first team all-conference.
TSUTigers: What is your most memorable non-golf moment at TSU?
A: Watching TSU softball compete.
TSUTigers: How do you feel social networking played a role in this season?
A: I feel social networking never helped me personally because I never let it play a role in my time at TSU. I chose to be more reserved personally, but I did enjoy getting updates on twitter about sporting events going on within TSU athletics.
TSUTigers: Do you have a favorite TSU fan/supporter? If so, who?
A: I would most definitely say my parents were my favorite TSU fans. Although they were not able to watch me compete a lot of times, they were always with me through my whole journey at TSU.
TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
A: Stay focused on what is important like academics and your sport and everything will work itself out.
TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?
A: Biology or Anatomy/ Physiology
TSUTigers: Who was your favorite professor?
A: Dr. Essam Hamido, Coach Jason Smith, and Mrs. Wrye
TSUTigers: What organizations were you a part of outside of golf?
TSUTigers: Who have been the most influential people to you at TSU?
A: Dr. Essam Hamido
TSUTigers: What’s next for you?
A: I will be looking to become an assistant golf coach at the collegiate level.
TSUTigers: Once you are an alumnus, how will you stay connected with TSU?
A: I will stay connected by social networking and talking to my friends, teammates, and coaches.
TSUTigers: What do you know now that you didn’t know coming in as a freshman?
A: I now know that I have memories and friends at TSU that I will never forget.
TSUTigers: What have you learned at TSU that you will keep with you for the rest of your life?
A: Cherish relationships that I have made and be proud to call myself a TSU alum.
TSUTigers: Is there anything else that you would like to say to the TSU family?
A: I just want to say thank you for the great memories and for giving me a great opportunity to represent THE BLUE.
