NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State offensive lineman Kadeem Edwards was named to the FCS College Sports Journal’s All-American Team on Monday.

Edwards joins the 63-man squad after helping TSU finish the season 10-4 overall, 6-2 and second place in the OVC and earned an at-large berth to the FCS Playoffs. Edwards helped block for Tim Broughton who rushed for 1,146 yards (25th-most nationally) and six touchdowns and for a quarterback duo that combined for 26 passes touchdowns and also four interceptions in 14 games.

Junior safety Daniel Fitzpatrick was given an Honorable Mention by the publication.

The CSJ All-America team was selected by a blue ribbon panel of FCS experts put together by College Sports Journal executive editor David Coulson and CSJ publisher and managing editor Chuck Burton.
