UTM won, 105-90, later in the season.

TSU vs. UTM, BREAKING RECORDS

In the 114-105 loss to UTM last season, the point total marked the most points TSU had scored in a game since posting 106 against Valparaiso in the 1990 season. Additionally, the 219 combined points from both teams set a new OVC record as Morehead (110) and EKU (106) previously held the record from the 1992-93 season.
