Tennessee State's three top leading scorers are Kesi Hess (9.8 ppg), Jasmin Shuler (9.6 ppg) and Simone Hopes (8.8 ppg). Hopes also leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with 6.7 rebounds per outing.
As a team, TSU is averaging 56.8 points per outing while shooting 35.8 percent from the field and 27.7 percent from beyond the arc. TSU is currently shooting only 67.2 percent from the free-throw line while committing an average of 18.3 turnovers per game.
TSU averages 35.3 rebounds, 9.9 assists and 10.0 steals per game. The Lady Tigers are under first year head coach Larry Joe Inman.
The win over BU, moved TTU into first place of the East Division. Diamond Henderson led the Golden Eagles with 17 points while T'Keyah Williams (13) and Jala Harris (12) also scored double-figures in the victory.

TSU will have a week off before returning to action at home against Southeast Missouri on Monday, Jan. 14. Then the Lady Tigers will travel across town to face Belmont on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Curb Event Center.
